ANSHU K. GUPTA
A journalism as well as Advertising & PR graduate
from the Indian Institute of Mass Communications, Anshu also
holds a Masters in Economics. He started his career with Chaitra
Leo Burnett and left Escorts as Manager Corporate Communications
in 1998 to start GOONJ..
Anshu
traveled extensively around India as a photographer with the
BBC team, for its popular series "Bharat Nama",
he has been contributing to leading newspapers & magazines
as a freelancer for over 12 years. He also has a number of
Photo Exhibitions to his credit.
GOONJ..,
his dream for many years, was realised in 1998 when, with
his wife and a few friends he started collecting clothes and
started distributing these on the roads in the chilly winter
nights of Delhi. His dream to motivate hardcore professionals
of different fields to join the group is a reality now with
over 300 volunteers being a part of this movement.

AJAY K. SHARMA
One of the founder members, Ajay a Mass Communications
Graduate from IIMC has a rich experience of more than 12 years
in the field of Electronic & Print media. He traveled
extensively throughout India as Associate Director, Krishi
Katha, a Doordarshan series on the history of agriculture
in India. Ajay’s travels and real life experiences play
a major role in identifying and assessing the needs throughout
the country.

MEENAKSHI T. GUPTA
Advertising
& PR Graduate from IIMC, Meenakshi, a founder member of
GOONJ is a keen traveler & reader. After working for more
than a decade in various arms of communication, she is presently
working with BBC, looking after News Publicity in the South
Asian region.

UPASNA PANDEY
A bachelor in Journalism from Delhi University, Upasna
started her career with Delhi Mid-Day and then moved to Times
of India. She has extensively written about and covered various
civic and social issues about Delhi.

KESHAV CHATURVEDI
Widely traveled, even to the remotest parts of India,
Keshav has a rich experience of working with print and electronic
media. A core member of GOONJ.. Keshav, plays a key role in
motivating people to donate especially around the time of
disasters.

MR.
S.D.GUPTA
Mr. S.D.Gupta, is a former member of the Railway Board. He
has taken on the mantle of looking after our entire Gurgaon
operations and is doing a great job there. He manages all
the collection camps and other activities in Gurgaon and its
adjoining areas.

MRIDULA
MURGAI
Mridula Murgai, a former stockbroker and Editor of a website
for Indian Women, looks after the GOONJ website. She also
is an active volunteer with the Team for many years.
